So, first of all, I need to publish a correction.....thank you for the number of you who got in touch re my attribution of the "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction" quotation, it would appear, having reviewed the bank of evidence you have provided that the quote was not in fact first stated by the American actor and singer Bruce Willis, but actually by English mathematician, astronomer, theologian, author and physicist (described in his own day as a "natural philosopher") who is widely recognised as one of the most influential scientists of all time, and a key figure in the scientific revolution, Sir Isaac Newton ! I stand corrected on that one...
Today has been spent driving the Wild Atlantic Way in reverse along roads I've already driven, taking the long way to get from A to B. I needed to get up to Ballinrobe for the races, the direct route would have taken an hour, maybe an hour n a half, but I took 5 hours ! It's Been wonderful.
Today has also been the hottest day of the year so far in Ireland.
So, it's a swift blog tonight, I'm just back from the races, winner in the first then nothing ! absolutely nothing....LOL... so here's some pics.....
I have to say this place has rocketed to the leaderboard of my favourite racecourses ! till tommorow.....
